Angelina Avila passed away on Dec. 20, 2019. She was 91. Angelina was born on October 18, 1928 in Michoacán, Mexico. She was a line worker in the canneries for 20 years. Angelina loved to cook, enjoyed having family and friends over, as well as enjoyed going to the casinos. She loved visiting family and friends. Angelina loved going to church on Sundays; her love of God was very deep. She also loved sitting on her front porch admiring her flowers.
Angelina is preceded in death by her husband Jesus Avila of 63 years. She is survived by her children; Javier (Lupe), Jose, Jesus, Delia (Armando), Argel (Karen), Sergio, and Robert, as well as 20 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 from 5-9 pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Mass will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at 10 at The Assumption Church. Burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
