Juan Antonio Quintana Lopez passed away at Dominican Hospital surrounded by his loving family on October 15, 2019. He was 33 years old.
Juan Antonio Quintana was born to Juan Quintana and Enedina Lopez in Michoacán, Mexico on December 9, 1985. He was a resident of this community for 17 years, who liked working outdoors in the sun and fresh air as a raspberry field worker. He was a friendly and happy person whose hobbies were tending to his flower and vegetable garden, listening to music, “Amos de Nuevo Leon,” and watching his favorite soccer team “Las Chivas”. He also enjoyed cooking, but his specialty was making spicy sauces which he liked to share with family and friends at barbecue gatherings.
Mr. Quintana is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe Ojeda Merino; one daughter, Leidy Itzel Quintana; his father, Juan Quintana; three brothers, Jorge Quintana, Omar (Ana Cecilia) Quintana and Arturo (Ana Cristina) Quintana. He is preceded in death by his mother, Enedina Lopez Quintana (2018).
Visitation was held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on October 28th Monday from 5 to 9pm with the rosary recited at 7pm. Mass was celebrated on Tuesday at 1pm at Valley Catholic Church with burial followed at Valley Public Cemetery.
