Acension “Sal” Sandoval, Jr., died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 18, 2020. He was born in Pajaro on March 20, 1941 and was one of 6 siblings. He was 79.
“Sal”, as he was known by his family and friends, went to local schools, graduating from Watsonville High School. He worked as a Plant Manager at Dean Foods for many years. He was an avid 49ers fan and loved to BBQ (he was The Best), among many other interests. Most of all, “Sal” loved spending time with his many friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He was extremely well-loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by Linda Sandoval, his loving wife of 38 years, and his children; Michael Sandoval, Teri Sandoval, and Salvador Sandoval. He also leaves behind 6 beloved grandchildren and one sister. He was preceded in death by 4 of his siblings.
Mehl’s Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a public viewing will not be held.
