Amaya Jasmine Morales

June 23, 2003 ~ April 22, 2022 (age 18)

Obituary

Amaya Jasmine Morales died on April 22, 2022. She was 18. Amaya was born on June 23, 2003 in Santa Cruz, California. Amaya graduated high school from Harbor High and had planned to take college courses and had been working since the age of fifteen. She was a loving and caring individual. Everywhere she went, she made friends. Amaya loved her family and friends and worked on making each relationship special and making sure you knew, you were loved. She could be silly at times and had various catchphrases. She never met an animal she didn’t love. She was unique in her style; long acrylic nails, colorful hair, lashes, and a hoodie. Amaya had a beautiful soul, her laugh warmed your heart and her smile could cheer you up. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her mother Veronica Morales, father, her sister Kattalina Hernandez, her grandmother Ramona Flores, grandfather Anthony Morales Sr., her aunt, an uncle, two cousins, her god parents, and numerous friends. A service will be held for Amaya on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 8am-1 pm at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, with a Chapel Blessing at 11 am.
