Obituary

In Loving Memory of Evangeline B Lumicao ~ December 08,1948 - April 21, 2022

Evangeline B. Lumicao, a dedicated and loving wife, passed away on April 21,2022  at her humble home, in the arms of her husband, Melcisco George Lumicao whom she was married to for twenty two years.  She was 73 years old.

Evangeline was a Nutritionist by profession and worked at Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines up until she immigrated to be united with  her husband here in America.  While in America, she worked as a Caregiver. Her patients grew fond of her  due to her loving and caring nature. 

A longtime resident of  Santa Cruz, California, Evangeline lived life to the fullest with simple pleasures. She loved watching drama series and films. She loved going to the beach for long walks waiting for the sun to set.  Her passion included sewing and knitting. 

A memorial service will be held on April 30th, Saturday between the hours of 3PM to 9PM at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel located at 222 East Lake Avenue, Watsonville, CA 95076.  A rosary prayer will start at 5PM to be followed with a blessing by Fr. Romeo Evangelista.
