Manual "Bobby" Calderon, born and raised in Watsonville, died on Feb. 9, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was 63 years old.
Mr. Calderon loved life to the fullest. He loved being in the outdoors, especially deep-sea fishing. He worked 30-plus years at Plant Sciences Inc., in Watsonville. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Calderon leaves his son Daniel Gonzalez and two wonderful grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Delia Guzman. He is survived by his father; Manuel (Soledad) Calderon, Casa Grande, Ariz., siblings; Irene Espinoza, Irma Jackson, Annette Mercado, Esperanza DeLeon, George Sandoval, Ruben Calderon, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 18, 11 am at Casa Del Alfarero (Potter's House), 113 E. Front St. Watsonville. In lieu of flowers, you may make an online donation to the Monterey Bay Teen Challenge at teenchallengemb.org.
