Mary Ann Malcolm

July 11, 1933 ~ February 2, 2021 (age 87)

Mary Ann Malcolm passed, after a short illness, on February 02, 2021. She was 87 years old. Mary Ann was born in Watsonville, and was the fifth daughter to George Lusco, native of Cefalu, Sicily, and Mary Scalisi Lusco, a native of Louisiana. She attended local schools and graduated from Watsonville High School in 1951. In 1952, she married her beloved George M. Malcolm and they made Watsonville their home their entire lives. She was a homemaker who was active in the local chapter of YLI, the reunion committee for Watsonville High, St. Patrick’s Church, and loved volunteering with the Service League of Watsonville Community Hospital. She treasured her family and times together, and she and George were active in the lives of their nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband, and four older sisters; Sara Marini, Rose Cunha, Josephine Bloomquist George, and Virginia George, and leaves numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Mehls Colonial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
