It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Nadolski.  Shelly was a special person that touched the hearts and lives of many.  Shelly passed with her husband Ed by her side after an eight month battle with cancer.  She was able to say goodbye to friends and family the night of her passing.

Michelle met Ed Nadolski in 1980. They were married in 1986, and were together for over 36 years, spending their entire lives together in Watsonville.  Shelly was born and raised in Watsonville, and except for two years at college, she lived her entire life in the community. A graduate of Watsonville High school and Cabrillo College, she had a long career at Watsonville Hospital as an intensive care RN. She was also very active with the nurses’ union working through many negotiations. Shelly and Ed were very active in the community, and had lasting and meaningful relationships with all they encountered. Shelly was an accomplished athlete, participating in golf, skiing, hiking, bicycling and almost all outdoor activities. She accumulated good friends wherever she went.  In addition to being a gifted athlete, Shelly enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, as well as her immense love for her dogs and animals in general. She and Ed were the parents to numerous Rottweilers, as well as other furry friends.  She was always a warm friend to those in need.
